Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully the Terms and conditions before booking with us.

By paying either the deposit (for parties and events) or the visit in full (for doorstop visits and other services), the client, whose name is on the booking form is agreeing that they accept these terms and conditions. This is a binding agreement between Little Dreamers Entertainment and the client.

  • Confirmation of booking and payment:

    For parties: Booking is only confirmed once you have received a booking confirmation email from us following payment of the non refundable deposit (50 percent of the package price), which goes towards the total cost of the party, (we will email you in response to your request form to confirm this deposit amount due).  The client agrees to pay this deposit to secure the party booking, we cannot reserve dates and times without this payment. Deposit is also used to fund the admin and purchase items for the booking so cannot be transferred to another service. Please only pay deposit upon receipt of an invoice sent to you. The remaining balance will be due 1 week before the booking. The client agrees to pay this. Failure to pay 72 hours prior to the party will result cancellation of your booking.

    For parties or events booked 7 days or less before the party or event date: The payment must be made in full to secure the booking

    For doorstep visits, video calls and video messages: Your booking is only confirmed once you have received a confirmation email from us following payment of the cost of the visit in full. The client agrees to pay the cost of the visit in full to secure the booking, We cannot guarantee to keep your date/time free until your booking is secured with payment

  • Forms of payment:

    We only accept bank transfer, The details will be emailed to you in an invoice with amount due, after you have submitted an enquiry form online

  • Travel:

    We do not accept any responsibility for excessive delays incurred through road accidents, extreme weather conditions and by any other means beyond our control. If the entertainer is delayed, we will aim to make up any time lost at the end of the party if your venue booking so allows. Please give 15 minutes leeway to allow for traffic, if your entertainer is running more than 15 minutes late they are required to send a text message to inform you as soon as is safe and convenient to do so, so please keep your phone on hand prior to your booking.

    If we need to cancel the booking due to weather conditions such as snow or other unplanned incidences, a full refund we will offer full refund or try and reschedule the booking with you.

    For Cambs/Herts bookings:

    Please note for all bookings further than a 25 minute drive from our HQ in Haslingfield Cambridgeshire, we charge 30p per additional minute (so anywhere 0ver a 50 minutes round trip) this will be detailed on your invoice, and 50% of this travel charge will be due with the deposit payment.

    Your entertainer will aim to get to your venue 10 minutes before the start time, so please ensure your venue is booked for at least 10 minutes before they arrive.

    For London bookings:

  • You will either need to provide a changing space and 10 minutes for the performer to change into and out of costume, or your performer can arrive in full costume.

    If you can provide a changing space, the performer will arrive 20 minutes before the booking start time to get into costume. For all bookings further than a 25 minute journey (via public transport as seen on ‘City Mapper’) from our HQ in Chiswick, West London, we charge 30p per additional minute (so over a 50 minutes round trip) this will be detailed on your invoice, and 50% of this travel charge will be due with the deposit payment.

    If you wish to have the performer arrive in full costume, the performer will arrive 10 minutes before your booking start time, so please ensure your venue is booked for at least 10 minutes before the booking start time. There will be a travel fee based on the Uber fee from our base in Chiswick, West London, to your venue (as calculated on the Uber app at time of booking). And for all bookings further than a 25 minute journey from our HQ is Chiswick, West London, we charge 30p per additional minute (so anywhere over 50 minutes round trip) this will be detailed on your invoice, and 50% of this travel charge will be due with the deposit payment.

  • Cancellation and rescheduling:

    Should you cancel your booking after it has been confirmed with deposit payed, or after you have paid the cost in full, we are unable to refund the deposit or full payment. If you are no longer able to hold your event on the booked date, or time, the payed deposit may be applied towards the cost of another booking within 12 months of the original booking and we will do our best to reschedule for another date of your choosing, but the client accepts that this cannot be guaranteed and it requires a minimum of 14 day written notice of cancellation before the original booking time for this to apply.

    Little Dreamers Entertainment reserves the right to cancel your party at any time, for any reason. We will always try to give as much notice as possible. Upon cancellation, we will refund the client any monies paid in respect of the booking, should any refund be due, within 30 days, or transfer the deposit over to another day. Little Dreamers Entertainment will not be liable to pay any compensation to the client or any other person for any loss, damage or expenditure arising directly or indirectly from the cancelation.

  • Address:

    We need to know the general area in which the party will be held when you complete the enquiry form, before you pay a deposit. Full address details must be supplied either on your booking form or in an email/text/message at the latest after you have payed your deposit and before you have paid the final outstanding payment (latest one week before the booking). This includes the full address of your venue and postcode. We will use postcodes supplied by you for locating the venue via GPS so please ensure that they are correct as internet searches can sometimes give incorrect details. If it is tricky to find, please provide us with details of how to get there. We cannot take responsibility for late arrival due to the supply of incorrect information.

  • Glitter/ Glitter Tattoos/Makeup:

    Biodegradable Cosmetic glitter will be used for glitter tattoos and for the magic wish (to be sprinkled over the children’s hands like fairy dust) It is the clients responsibility to inform us, in writing, of any allergies or skin sensitivities, or any allergies to glitter and glitter fixer gel (if glitter tattoos are included in your package). Glitter tattoos are to be done on children ages 3+, the client ensures that children under 3 do not have a glitter tattoo. We use Barry M biodegradable body glitter and Glamavan UK glitter products and gel.


    Glitter tattoo brushes will be wiped with clinnell antimicrobial hand wipes in between each child the brush is used on, and will be washed thoroughly in between bookings with ISO makeup sanitiser. The client agrees to notify Little Dreamers entertainment of any allergies to these products prior to the booking.

    We use children’s play makeup from ‘Little Stardust the Natural Play Makeup’. It is the client’s responsibility to inform us in writing of any allergies or skin sensitivities. We use single use makeup applicators to apply the makeup which are discarded after being used.

    The client agrees that Little Dreamers entertainment accepts no responsibility for any medical emergencies which occur as a result of failure to notify us of any such allergies.

  • Bubbles:

    The client agrees to tell Little Dreamers Entertainment in writing of any allergies to bubble liquid from ‘Giant gazillion premium bubbles’ or ‘Rich Childhood’ bubble gun bubbles. The client agrees that Little Dreamers entertainment accepts no responsibility for any medical emergencies which occur as a result of failure to notify us of any such allergies.

    We recommend that you do not have bubbles if the party is held in a carpeted room. It is the client’s responsibility to inform little dreamers entertainment in writing if they would not like bubbles because of carpeted floor or any other reason

  • Other Allergies:

    If you are booking balloon modelling add on, please inform us in writing to any allergies to balloons before you book this add on

    The client agrees to inform us of any other allergies which the guests have.

    The client agrees that Little Dreamers entertainment accepts no responsibility for any medical emergencies which occur as a result of failure to notify us of any such allergies.

  • Prices:

    All prices are subject to change, however prices quoted in email at the time of booking will always be honoured.

  • Guests:

    The maximum number of children to attend each party with one performer present is 25 and a maximum of 8 for doorknock visits. This includes any siblings who may be joining in. The client agrees not to exceed these numbers as we pack equiptment according to the number of children.

    For parties with 25+ children, you will need a second performer at your party.

    For Silver, Gold and diamond packages with 25+ children, there will be a fee of £1 for every extra child.

    Please ask your guests to arrive on time as we cannot amend the booking start time/finish time when the entertainer arrives.

  • Photographs and videos:

    Photos and videos may be taken at bookings and posted online for marketing purposes only. We will always get the consent from the parent/guardian whose child is being photographed/filmed before using for our marketing purposes. And any child who we do not have consent for, we will blur out their faces or use photos taken from the back. For more detailed information on how photos are used, see our photography policy here

  • Venue:

    For parties, the client agrees to organise, book or provide a venue for the entertainer to entertain in whether this is in the clients home or at a community hall or suchlike and the client agrees to ensure there is enough space for the number of children invited to be able to move around, dance in and sit comfortably in a circle in.

    For parties, the client agrees to provide a table and a chair for the entertainers

    If the venue is unsanitary, unsuitable for the booking or puts the entertainer in any danger they will leave the premises without refund.

    It is the clients responsibility to ensure that there is a well signed escape route and kept clear at all times

    If outside, please ensure that there is shade if it’s a sunny day, free of thorny bushes and no standing water, if there is even slight rain the performer will continue the party inside so you must ensure a backup for example the living room. Likewise if the ground is wet and or muddy it is down to the performers discretion to move the party inside. If the temperature exceeds 25 degrees Celsius, the performer must move the booking inside and appropriate air conditioning must be provided.

  • Parking (Cambs/Herts only):

    For all Cambs/Herts bookings, there must be free, nearby safe and legal parking available on site for the entertainer, no further than a 2 minute walk and clients must pay any parking or congestion fees for the entertainer. The client must obtain all necessary permits and or licencences from any government authorities (including but not limited to local council, police service, fire service) as necessary for the duration of the period of service, any and all costs associated with obtaining such permits will be payable by the client. Should any delay or cancellation of the hire occur in relation to such permits, all fees or other associated expenses will be payable by the client.

    There must be space outside the vehicle for the performers to exit in a large gown.

    The client must inform Little Dreamers Entertainment of where the parking is ie car park, driveway

    We politely request that you do not bring the children out to the form of transport to greet the character to maintain the magic.

  • Behaviour:

    If at any point an entertainer is subject to threatening behaviour or feels unsafe, they will leave the booking immediately and no refund will be offered. Please ensure the environment the performer is coming into is safe and positive.

    Threatening behaviour includes but not limited to swearing, throwing objects, hitting, drunk or disorderly behaviours, unsanitary working conditions, smoking in close proximity to performers, rudeness or disrespect.

  • Distractions:

    Should there be distractions at the party such as bouncy castles, soft play etc your performer is not expected to keep the attention of all the guests. We highly suggest turning off or packing away any other distractions while our performers are entertaining.

  • Performer present:

    We may not disclose with the client which performer will be attending the booking. The client understands upon booking that it could be any one of our performers as the character at the booking and the client will not get to choose a performer.

  • External Fines:

    In the event the party/event/visit is broken up by law enforcement, and a fine is imposed, this is the responsibility of the client.

  • Liability to third parties:

    Little Dreamers Entertainment strictly provides entertainment. Please be aware that all children need to be supervised at all times and the person whose name is on the booking form must be present at the booking. It is the responsibility of the client to take duty of care and ensure there are a suitable number of adults there to supervise children during the entirety of the event. Our entertainers will direct children to the responsible adults present in the instance of hunger, sickness, and accidents. Little Dreamers entertainment are not responsible for the health, safety, actions and security of children and adults at the booking. Parents are responsible for their own children and children in their care and there must be an appropriate number of adults present at all times. The entertainer must not be left alone with any child/children. It is the sole responsibility of the parents and guardians at the booking to monitor and observe the children’s safety and security. It is not the entertainer’s duty to discipline children who are misbehaving as we will not step out of character and spoil the magic for the rest of the children. It is also down the responsible adult to deal with any medical emergencies, Little Dreamers Entertainment company or entertainers will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, illness, death, loss or damage to the property however caused at the booking. Little Dreamers Entertainment entertainer reserve the right to leave any booking should there be any physical , verbal or sexual abuse, no refund given.

  • What we provide:

    Little Dreamers Entertainment provides all music, games and prizes, we do not provide party bags or decorations so if the client wishes to have such they will need to be provided for by themselves.

    The entertainer will not be held responsible for any children behaving uncharacteristically shy or disinterested. the entertainer will not force children to participate if they don’t want to

    It is at the discretion of the performer to change some of the activities in the booking if needed. This could be to suit differing crowds interests or if the majority of the children in attendance are under 3 years old the performer is at discretion to not complete activities that won't be suitable for this age range. Our prizes and equipment are 3 plus.

    We bring our own music, speaker and microphone to all parties. If you wish to use your own speaker/PA system, this is fine but the client agrees that Little Dreamers Entertainment cannot guarantee that the speaker/microphone system you provide us will work and there may be sound glitches. So the client accepts that if they are providing us with a speaker/microphone that doesn’t work properly, the party may be without music and you may be unable to hear the entertainer. The client also agrees that if they provide their own speaker/microphone for the entertainer, the client must assist the entertainer in setting up the speaker/microphone upon the entertainer’s arrival.

  • Video messages:

    Little Dreamers Entertainment will try and send video messages as soon as possible after the final balance has been paid but this may take up to a week. These will be sent as an unlisted youtube link, so your child can view again and again

  • 1-1 interaction with birthday child:

    For all parties, the birthday child must be available and supervised 5 minutes before all other guests arrive so they can have their 1-1 time with their entertainer, the entertainer is not obliged to stay for extra time once the party is over so please make sure birthday child is available before the party.

  • Equipment and damages:

    The client will be responsible for any damage to equipment and will be liable to pay the cost of replacing any of Little Dreamers Entertainment’s equipment at full replacement value, this includes but is not limited to speaker, microphone, costumes, props, games damaged due to mistreatment while at the client’s premises. If any items are damaged, charges will apply. The client agrees to immediately report any theft of the equipment to the local police service and the company. The client agrees to use the equipment for purposes only that accord with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site is located. The client agrees not to deface or tamper with the equipment including but not limited to affixing any object to the equipment. The client agrees that all equipment is vacated by the departure time provided by the company.

  • Party food:

    The client agrees, if booking a 2 hour (diamond) party, to provide a party tea/lunch for the children attending.

  • Characters:

    Little Dreamers Entertainment is not associated with any company, brand or licensed character nor do we claim to be. It is not our intention to violate any copyright laws. We can only accept bookings from individuals who are aware of this.

    We are constantly updating our characters costumes, the entertainer at your event may not be the same entertainer nor wearing the exact same outfit/wig as in our photos because we are always updating our characters costumes, the client agrees to understand this.

  • Other entertainment:

    Please let us know prior to the event if you have any other performers or entertainment, such as magician, DJ as we are unable to attend events where there are other performers entertaining unless discussed prior. Our entertainer will leave the party if discovering upon arrival that there are other performers there which has not previously been agreed upon.

  • Package delivered:

    The package booked is the one that will be delivered on the day. The entertainer cannot increase the length of the booking on the day unless previously arranged.  If the entertainer is kept at the venue for longer than the package type booked, you will receive an invoice for this extra time.

  • Offers:

    Discounted services apply only to the booking type (party, visit, video call…) stated in the offer information. Parties= 30 min, 1 hr, 1.5 hr, 2 hr parties, events= bespoke packages discussed with us for weddings, fetes etc, Visits= doostep visits, Video calls, video messages. Offers apply to bookings that are not already discounted.

  • Joint parties:

    For bronze parties with 2 or more birthday children we require an extra £5 per extra birthday child. For silver, gold and diamond, we require £7.50 per extra birthday child. This will be detailed on your invoice.

  • Data:

    The client agrees to supply Little Dreamers Entertainment with name, name of birthday child, age of birthday child, email address, phone number, address of party and parking information. By supplying us with this data you are giving us permission for Little Dreamers to  collect it, process it, store is and in some instances share it. And you agree to the terms of our privacy policy.

  • Messages:

    We endeavour to reply to all emails and messages within 48 hours. We cannot respond to any emails or messages sent after 6pm the night before your booking so if you want to contact us regarding your visit please do so before this time.

  • Assistant:

    There may be an assistant at the booking who will be easily identifiable at all times as they will be wearing Little Dreamers Entertainment branded top, they are there to help set up and take photos. They are not there to ‘look after’ or discipline the children.
